Deforestation Monitoring

We help customers meet EUDR requirements with our detailed deforestation monitoring, traceability, and compliance reporting.

The Prism deforestation monitoring system gives beef producers and processors in New Zealand absolute confidence they can meet EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) requirements, without disrupting farm operations.

We use continuous satellite monitoring including terrain and weather filters, AI driven change detection, and expert human review to identify vegetation removal and verify whether it meets the EU definition of deforestation.

Every detection is then verified using high resolution imagery to determine land use conversion or degradation and to eliminate false positives.

Deforestation detection overlay on forested land

We connect verified deforestation data directly to animal traceability records. This allows us to determine whether livestock have crossed ineligible land and to support market segregation where needed.

Our system produces consignment specific Due Diligence Statements ready for submission by importers through the EU's TRACES Information System.

We also hold deforestation risk assessment and traceability history data securely for audit.
